Have you ever thought a snake could be sexy? What do you think of a relationship between a mountain lion and a wolf? Yeah, all can happen at Cambio Springs!

Ted Vasquez and Alex McCann are meant for each other. Even though they have separated before, Alex knows now it's time to fix thing and get everything on it's proper place. While rebuilding their relationship, he must step up to lead his pack, bring his town into the XXI century and solve a murder case. Oh, he also needs to tame a cougar. His happiness depends on it, and his people are counting on him.

I love a shifter's series, and even though there are too many out there, I never get tired of them. But  I don't think that are many new ideas out there for these series, somehow Ms. Hunter has just proved me wrong.

Desert Bound is book two of an ongoing series, that now I will have to read from the beginning, and it has some fresh new ideas into the shifter's mix. I love the idea of how this town has become a shifter's place, and I adore the concept of finding a snake sexy. Really,  most people have aversion or at least distaste for snakes. It's a pretty bold move from Ms. Hunter, to make them into tall, dark and dangerous. What about turning a kick-ass young girl into a pretty snake? I'm very excited about this book.

This is a fast-paced, keep you guessing story. All elements are well executed and the reader end the book wanting more. I would love to have book three out there right now to read it. I feel invested in these characters and I've seen some very promising secondary characters "screaming" to have their own book. In fact, I don't know who I would like to see next, but I'm glad, Ms. Hunter has answer my question.

Ted is a kick-ass heroine and Alex is the perfect alpha male. The type that is not afraid of a dominant female. He doesn't need to shine the brightest, only to shine along with his partner. Their sexual chemistry is out there from the beginning of the book and their love for their people is captivating.

I'm really looking forward to this series, and I will definitely be catching up with previous books very soon.

If you enjoy a well created shifter's world, you must take a look at Cambio Springs, where even snake's rattles are sexy!

"Hottest man in the world, sitting right here." Jena's eyes lit up. "You mean you're going to shift into George Clooney later?"
